We’re excited to be growing our team and saying hello to seven new faces at Mercieca. Thanks to recent pitch wins, and evolving our offering, we’re bolstering our creative and client services teams with new talent.
And we thought we’d take this opportunity to help you get to know them too!
First up is Account Director Marie who has delivered integrated PR campaigns for food & drink brands including British Lion Eggs, Halo Top, McCains and Thorntons. Her favourite project to date has been for Headspace raising the importance of mind health. Fluent in German she’s a self-confessed snacker, with salty popcorn her top choice.
Designer Aston joins our creative services team, with experience working across Net-a-Porter, Adidas, John Lewis, Dr Martens, and Eastpak. His proudest work moment includes Red Bull F1 social campaigns featuring Daniel Ricardo and Max Verstappen. Aston’s no stranger to famous faces having starred in a film with Christina Ricci and Johnny Depp when he was just seven.
EJ also joins us as an Account Manager from a boutique consultancy where she specialised in corporate communications. A former actress who fell in love with PR, she’s a creative wordsmith who is already bringing her own signature style to our food and drink accounts. In fact, she’s already penned a blog on Plant Power, but veganism is not for her…at least not in combination with Dry January!
Senior Account Executive Cat has a background in healthcare and consumer media relations. From creating case studies and interviews with patients through to interpreting research data, she’s passionate about delivering stories that resonate. And her party trick? Her ‘owl impression’!
Sophie joins as an Account Executive hot on the heels of completing her master’s degree. With previous experience including Marks & Spencer, one of her favourite activities includes planning a famous pig’s birthday celebrations. Sophie’s passionate about travel, having visited 11 countries in just seven months.
Account Executive, Esme is a consumer PR, working on campaigns for Disney on Ice and QVC. One quarter Italian she’s set on improving her linguistics skills with a little help from her grandma.
Last but certainly not least is our Press Assistant Jess who has moved to London from Scotland after graduating. She’s already whipping the team into shape with her organisational skills – and is the gatekeeper to our biscuit tin!
