New talent. Bright future.

21 July 2022

Like most industries, we too have felt the effects of The Great Resignation over the last two years, and there’s no denying it’s an employee’s market out there.

Whilst it’s more competitive than ever for agencies around the UK (and the globe) we’ve been lucky enough to nab some outstanding talent over recent months with experience in professions varying from acting and comedy writing, to bright new graduates, all bringing fresh skills and energy to our Client Services team.

Our new Account Manager, Josh Spuyman, is no exception. Hailing from ‘the other side’, his career so far comprises marketing and commercial roles at soft drink giant Redbull, and innovative confectionery brand Candy Kittens.

“Investing in the right people is more important than ever to ensure we continue to offer the best service and creativity to our clients. We continue to adapt to the changing industry environment, and ensure that we continue to work together to achieve our vision.

“We’ve evolved many areas of our business in the last two years, and that includes our approach to recruitment. We still have a lot more to do, but the new talent that we have added to the team this year, and will continue to add, shows us we’re moving forward as a business.

“Josh is great addition to our team and brings with him invaluable brand-side experience that can only benefit our clients and future work.”

Gemma Oakes, Director

“For me, Mercieca was an obvious choice for the next step in my career. Its amazing client list along with the variety of work as a fully integrated agency offers the opportunity to work across some of the world’s biggest, most exciting brands, whilst also having the chance to work on some unique projects. The fact the office is based on Oxford Street also has its lunchtime shopping perks.”
