FAB News! Hospitality Action campaign shortlisted!

3 May 2016

Judging for the 18th FAB Awards has concluded and we’re excited to announce that our ‘It Could Happen To Anyone’ campaign for Hospitality Action has been made a Finalist in the Best Use of Photography category.

The creative campaign, which launched in September last year, to draw attention to the many issues faced by people working in hotels, bars, pub and restaurants every day. We were briefed to create a thought-provoking campaign with the objective of raising awareness amongst potential supports and beneficiaries.

Working with leading portrait photographer, Morgan Silk, we created a series of hard-hitting images of Heston Blumenthal, Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Angela Hartnett, Ashley Palmer-Watts, illustrating the effects of a range of issues, including addiction, domestic violence. The over-riding message being that such issues can affect anyone working in the industry.

The campaign was unveiled at the industry’s largest annual awards event held at the Grosvenor Park Lane, The Cateys, and received widespread acclaim. Activation included print advertisements, social media and PR including a TV interview with CEO of Hospitality Action Penny Moore. The campaign also appeared in various event programmes, pop up banners, leaflets, and on over 50,000 flyers sent to supporters.

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony at The Hurlingham Club in Fulham on 26th May
